Stapelia scitula in Bloom

Starfish Flowers


The time is finally here!  The buds have started to open.  I thought the flowers would be a little bigger but they are so cute and pretty that it makes up for their small size :)  Here are a few photos for you to enjoy.  



I now have 2 other varieties of this plant family so hopefully in time you will see their blooms too!

    Is there much to do in the field of Horticulture? I love plants, have since I was a child. I am kinda old to be making another change in my major. I was going for botany but started to hate the school I was going to. I am in nursing and I don't think I will like the field.

      There is lots of work in the horticultural world. The sad thing however is many of those jobs don't pay very well.. unless you go into the world of landscape design. consulting can pay well too if your good.
